St Cecilia Wind Symphony

The aims of the ensemble are simple: to aspire to achieving the very highest quality musical standards possible whilst performing contemporary wind band music that engages, excites, inspires, and captivates audiences and future generations of musicians whenever it performs. 

The focus of the ensemble is on performing original compositions for wind orchestra on delivering passion, innovation and story-telling to create performances that convey emotional responses through dramatic and theatrical narratives, and on delivering events that embed themselves into the memory by invoking profound perspectives and deep connections in the imagination.

SCWS meets on an ad hoc, project-focused basis performing three to four concerts a year. We hope you will join us on our mission to perform the very finest and captivating wind band repertoire. 

SCWS comprises a wealth of varied experience. The musicians in SCWS are passionate about their craft and are prepared to devote time and energy to maintain and improve their musicianship and performance abilities.
